Not a bad day for being in the car to reach our next destination.

Hope you enjoyed the ride… and the photos 😉

One last stop at a rice field.

Every time we stopped, people were always a bit surprised we would take pictures of what seems so mundane to them, after all that’s what they do every day. But they got used to us and always always looked so pride of what they did or own.

Wanting to pose for us with what was part of their daily life (those bamboo stick are used to carry the rice) and the man with maybe 2 of his most valuable possessions: his son & his cow.

The end of a hard day on the fields paid with some Chili (didn’t get a reply if it was their day wage or on top of their day wage, as a bonus)

After a few moments of confusion, they kept on working.

But those blue eyes didn’t get unnoticed (and the other workers weren’t surprised either).

We had a 3-hour car ride to our next destination and we were all on the lookout for things to photograph along the way.

First stop was a sugar cane “plantation” along the road.

The workers weren’t quite sure what was happening 😉

Before leaving Rajshahi to Bogra we went back to the Market to take a few more pictures. There will be plenty other opportunities to post other markes but I don’t often have portraits.

I had taken a few photos of the man the previous day. When I walked by he smiled, recognizing us (well we don’t walk around unnoticed in this part of the world!) then I noticed that he got up and got himself a tea so I just waited to grab my shot. He was pleased with himself 😉

The second woman was being photographed by my friends, I was just standing there looking at the scene (remembering what it felt like to be on the other side of the camera from our time in China) when she looked at me, maybe wondering why I wasn’t shooting dozen of pictures of her like the others, I hold up my camera, she nodded, I took 3 quick shots and that was one of them.
