Friday night.

Wanted to go shoot some night photographies but I wasn’t too sure about the weather and on top of it since it’s the weekend the place I wanted to photograph was going to be crowded so decided to do night photography from the bedroom.
Best of both world.

Battle of the sunrises and sunsets on WhatsApp’s with my Singaporean photographers friends.
They travel at ungodly hours to prime sunrise and sunset destination around the island and I raise the game with quick pictures from my bedroom and my balcony.

We are still on speaking terms and they are still trying to entice me to join them one of those days 😉

After seeing my Cyanotype pictures, my photography group wanted to do the workshop so I went back with them but try something a little more creative.

Back in the studio.

Trying to get my mojo back and maybe get a project I’ve had in the back of my mind for a few years on some kind of timely schedule.
It will all line up in due time I’m sure

Thankfully I have friends who still call me when they go out shooting at night to join them.
Next challenge accepting their invitation for sunrise shoots.
Baby steps 😉

Today was photography group meeting.

The meeting place was on the other side of the island (you know a whooping 20kms away!) and the meeting venue wasn’t thrilling me but it was this or being a couch potatoes and nothing to write about for today’s post … seeing a pattern here 😉

So off I went to Bollywood Fruits and Vegetables Farm (yep real name!). It was an interesting outing, not much for photography (I’m not into flowers photography in general) but interesting to see the different vegetation and learn about it from a different point of view (our volunteer guide was very interesting).

I’m still looking for a great photography group that would push me, so far hanging out with the couple of Singaporean photographers I met on my Borobudur trip has been the best option (photography and local friendship)
