A panorama to show you the beautiful 180° view.

To the left Grenoble and the roads toward either the north with Switzerland and/or Italy or to the south with Marseille, Cannes/Nice.

To the right, around the mountain Valence and the expressway to the South of France (passing by our summer house!)

While we are standing on the Chartreuse range, the mountain across that we look at is the Vercors.

View from above of Voiron… home of Rossignol ski, Chartreuse liquor and Bonnat Chocolate! We even manage to pinpoint grandma and grandpa home.

The little white mark (it’s a Stone quarry) on the mountain on the horizon marks La Rivière and our summer house. It’s also the road to the South of France and La Vallée du Rhône.

When you have a little time on your hand and think that having sushi with a view over the city (Grenoble) could be a great alternative to dinner in town, you hop in the cable-car and go.

I spent so many summer on those ground.

It wasn’t a golf course at the time, just our playground with a lake in the middle and the Alps mountains (Vercors Chain) as a background. It belonged to the family of one of my best friend and building tree house, learning to drive motocycles and just plain quality time with friends was all we cared for.

Our summer house is less than a block away from a very popular canyoning side.

The restaurants along the canals of Annecy are so quaint. The sun setting light was amazing too.

The canal, the lake and the mountains in the background… Annecy is definitely blessed.
