Friday night.

Wanted to go shoot some night photographies but I wasn’t too sure about the weather and on top of it since it’s the weekend the place I wanted to photograph was going to be crowded so decided to do night photography from the bedroom.
Best of both world.

When you lack patience…
… only half of your Rhubarb Tart is Instagram photo worthy 😂
The other half is… that will do!

Also note to self: Stop browsing Pinterest and think you are a pastry chef.

It wasn’t cheap but when you need it you aren’t looking for cheap you are looking for availability.
Right here, right now and no pressure by the table-to-table flower vendor .

No hubby wasn’t looking for availability 😉

We (finally!) have a sofa and a coffee table. And we didn’t buy them at IKEA (or/and they didn’t come with the usually furnished apartment!).

I think that put us officially into the Adult category.

I know what you are thinking but you have kids that sure would have put you in the adult category. Nope! Plenty of adults don’t have kids but I bet they made a “big” furniture purchase at one point and knew right then that they had started #adulting 😉

We finally received our dining room table so we put our temporary “dining” room table where it belongs, the balcony!

That’s probably where we’ll have most of our dinners I’m pretty sure…until monsoon season starts. But again we lived in Norway for 4 years and rain doesn’t scare us 😉

BTW the white building next to us is beautiful with the pink sunset light reflection.

When you realized that ¾ of your wardrobe is totally utterly useless here 😦

And you don’t have a lot of storage capacity (because you have also a lot of totally utterly useless crap that needs to also find a place!)

And anyway the lowest temperature recorded in Singapore (in January 1934) was 19C/66F so your Norwegian sweaters, Mongolian cashmere or lovely leather jacket handmade in Beijing might not see the light of day for a very long time!!!

Not sure what today, this week or even this month music could be but definitely not a melody….
