On a way to a waterfall we stopped by a hot water spring. We predict I will be a hot (😜) tourist stop in a few years when it gets more accessible.
We could smell the sulphur and it was bubbly.
We also stopped by the river a little more downstream where locals had a makeshift bath where you could enjoy the warm water while socking (didn’t feel appropriate to take a picture while a man was indeed taking a bath in it 🤔)

Day 9 – October 29
It’s time to say good bye: Labuan Bajo to Jakarta to Singapore
2 different countries – 2 different time zone
While you would expect that the time difference would be between the 2 countries (Indonesia and Singapore) it’s actually between the 2 Indonesian provinces. Labuan Bajo (Flores Island) is on the same time zone than Singapore (yet more east) while Jakarta (on Java island) and right south of Singapore is an hour behind.
