Just a few hours before we go back to group of 5 people gatherings (we were allowed group of 8 since CNY in mid February) we got to celebrate our Let’s Cross The Island Challenge (x2) all together with a High Tea at the Fullerton Hotel.
Finally made it AROUND the big island (St Johns & Lazarus – we usually do a beach clean up on Lazarus but we go directly to the beach closer to the main island).
As you can see, it got a little rough on the south end of the islands in the big open ocean.
And this was my Tuesday adventure on sleepy Singapore….. Well sleepy until a few hours later when we heard the news of social gatherings going back to group of 5 (instead of 8) and now quarantine in hotel when you can get back to Singapore is 21 days (instead of 14) 😱🤷♀️
I know, Monday routine posted on a Wednesday and now Tuesday canoe outing posted on her Thursday. When will this madness end!
You have a 99% chance of surviving if judged by my aiming skill. Well at least if you are the one I’m aiming at, if you are outside of the target area I would duck.
Just in case you didn’t realize that our little 6-seater canoe share the big wide ocean with big boats.
We even cross the path of the ferries on their way to Batam island, indonesia. Well not so much right now since the borders are closed (even if technically Batam is closer to Singapore than to Jakarta it’s still indonesia)
However not sure why there is such a big discrepancy between the number of kilometers I “ran” compare to my team mate since she was right behind me (in the canoe that is 😜). It’s definitely a 10 kms roundtrip paddling distance.
