We are starting our trip back home to Singapore.

Bye bye lush green hills.

The weather was a little bit schizophrenic this year (going between 16C and 36C within days) and my Singaporean wardrobe was a little “light” on the cold days but I won’t hold it against you.

See you again in a year.

Last full day in our summer house in the French Alps. Day #50 for me.

Tomorrow we will close our house and in the evening start our trip back for singapore, via Paris

I’m going to miss my little shaded hook in the garden.

Great for reading… and quick afternoon nap!

Half way done with the resorting of my worldwide sand collection so they are easier to access and look at.

26 done… 20 to go and missing a few places we’ve visited.

.

I’m determined to enjoy the outdoor of our summer house until the end… even if it means hot chocolate, scarf and blanket in order to not die of hypothermia (ok slight dramatization about the hypothermia!).

When the weather is not cooperating but dang it’s “summer” so you are going to BBQ no matter what.

We however ate inside because 16C is really not summer temperature (we lost 10 degree during the night and 20 in a week!! 😱)

When you try to relax and the staff makes noise 😉

Singapore celebrated our arrival with style.

Unless it was for National Day. I’m a bit confused 😉

Happy 51st Anniversary Sing’

Sorry we missed your birthday party this year Singapore. From all the pictures I’ve seen on social media it looks like it was as grandiose as it was last year. See you next week.

Before hard drives.

I was already well organized (Year/Month/Event) 😉

Opening old boxes can trigger a trip down memory lane.

My second little traveling bird is back to the nest… the resting nest after flying almost 7000 km (4000+ miles).

Ah the life of a teenage jet setter ;-).

A year ago we were arriving in Singapore to start a new chapter of our Asia adventure.

Happy 1st Singanniversary to us… and to many more Chicken & Rice at the hawker center
