Catching up on the news, chatting with your friends by the sound of your signing bird. That’s not a bad morning if you ask me 😉

I have had asked around about bird signing because I had seen the hook in Tiong Bahru but I was told that it wasn’t really popular anymore.

Well perseverance is the key!!

27-May-2022: D-23 before departure

A few months after arriving in Singapore I went to the Kebun Bahru Birdsinging club (mentioned here several times) and I mentioned it to a friend who had lived in Beijing (old people walking around and gathering in park with their birds is a thing we both enjoyed in Beijing). While on a walk a few weeks later she stumbled upon a group of people with the birds gathered in a HBD so she asked me if I wanted to go back….but of course!!!

We observed, we talked to them and then they were ok with us taking pictures. Plus we got the other good spots of bird signing gathering from them.

Walk away from the common path, you’ll discover treasures

~~~Just a little FYI So for my last 200 days in Singapore I have decided to reblog, in no special order, a post from the 6 years I will have spent on the Little Red Dot. PS: you will then get 2 posts a day!!~~~
