A Total TaiTai Tale

Tale of a Total TaiTai who was in Beijing & Beyond and is now in Singapore & Surroundings!

Little by little “normal” life is taking over in every corners of Singapore.

It’s subtle but it’s there.

The boundaries are broaden; not too broad and you need to have been there before or you would think it’s still strict.

It’s all about perspective like a lot of things in life.

Amazing weather and blue sky.

My skin and lips are not loving this dry climate but my hair is happy to be out of the Singapore humidity. I guess I cannot win on all front.

April 2019 – Silk Road, China

The quintessential road trip…. Amazing destination and best companion. What else can a girl ask for?

Might have been a bit out of E. comfort zone but she was just game on another of my crazy idea. After our trip together to Amsterdam we knew we wouldn’t kill each other after the first couple days and to top it off we learned the limit of our friendship… it involves communal bathrooms 😉

This was such a fun trip and also eye opening trip. This is was I wrote on a different post entry:

And this is the end of our Silk Road plane/train/road trip.

There is so much you can share through pictures and words, but there’s so much more when you are actually there. Seeing it with your own eyes, the pictures you didn’t take, those little furtive glances of daily life, those chitchat which give you little insider knowledge, it’s all about the feelings you get when you are actually in a place. And it’s especially true with trips to certain part of the world. I could talk for hours but not everything can be written because of so many factors involved.

Keep traveling. Experience the world with your family, with your bestie or even by yourself. Your badly taken pictures are worth so much more, because of the feelings and memories it will bring back, than the best photos from a book.

“Better to see something once than hear about it a thousand times”

~~~Just a little FYI So for my last 200 days in Singapore I have decided to reblog, in no special order, a post from the 6 years I will have spent on the Little Red Dot. PS: you will then get 2 posts a day!!~~~
