#TellMeWithoutTellingMe

Tell Me Without Telling Me, also known as #TheTellMeChallenge, is a social game in which social media users ask others to share personal opinions and beliefs without using direct mentions of the subject.

I present you the Singapore version… tell me we are in lockdown, sorry Circuit Breaker, without using the words “lockdown” and “circuit breaker”.

So from May 16 until June 13 we are back to group of 2 (we JUST went from group of 8 to group of 5 a week ago!), no dining in (so restaurants are back to being take-away and delivery services), work-from-home will be the default mode for workers (the 50% to 75% back in the office was only implemented back about a month ago!) and Operating capacity at attractions cut to 25% from the current permissible capacity of 50%. Also we strongly encourage everyone to stay home as much as possible, go out only for essentials reasons.

It’s not a lockdown, it’s only a lockdown-like conditions.

Well it is what it is. The only thing you can control is how you react to events as they unfold. As Epictetus said, “We cannot choose our external circumstances, but we can always choose how we respond to them.”

I cannot control everything in life
But I can control where my attention goes.
And where my attention goes,
My energy flows
