Iftar near the Sultan mosque.

Yesterday was Hari Raya Puasa in Singapore (Holiday).  It’s the celebration at the end of the Ramadan month of fasting. It is also known as Eid al Fitr or Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

The holy month, which began in some countries on May 6 and in others on the following day, ends with the fast-breaking festival of Eid al-Fir.  Those who began Ramadan on May 7 will start celebrating Eid on Wednesday.
