When you plan your mutual trip so well that you have a departure time close to each other.

J is leaving for a 5-day trek in Hong Kong and I’m on my way to China on my new adventure.

Wednesday Woodworking Workshop.

Woodturning is a whole new way for me to work with wood and with just the slightest move (wrong move?) you can change the whole shape of and object. Very similar to my pottery class last year.

I’m done with Woodworking. I’ve looked at their website for new projects…. there are a few I love but I’m thinking of all the time commitment it involves and I’m not sure I’m up for it quite yet. But who knows, after awhile you tend to forget and jump right back into it 😜

My Singaporean friend invited me to her Multi-Cultural Bridal Show she was organizing.

Being the good friend I am I went to support her (because I’m obviously not looking for a bridal gown!!), apart from having my name called during her “Honored to have in our audience” speech 😉, it was quite interesting.

Singapore being so multicultural it was great to see so many different styles of outfits for the big day and not just the “traditional” (at least traditional in the western world) white dress. Malay, Indian, Chinese & Western brides and their grooms were featured.

Monday Murals – Ernest Zacharevic’s Boy fishing for Money.

This one is in little india on the side wall of the Perak Hotel. Apparently there are 2 other pieces in the guest rooms of the hotel (rooms 303 & 304) but I didn’t verify this ;-).

This is the last Mural posting for Ernest Zacharevic art and since we are in Little India I’ll start sharing all the murals you can find around little india.
There are a Singapore Art Week every year at the end of January with different event and one of them is ArtWalk Little India where murals are commissioned.

This is how you stay married for this long ;-).

Every year there seems to be a month or so where we barely cross path. March/April seems to be that month this year. Paris-China-<China>-Paris with a couple days in Singapore to touch base.
