And sometimes you hit the mallet a bit too strong and it slips the wood. Oops! Well when you have a very skilled teacher, he repaired that in a pinch and it actually gives your stool a little Je Ne Sais Quoi 😉

PS: I was his last student as he decided to concentrate on his own business (making high-end wooden furniture fully by hand, no machinery) after this class… but it wasn’t my fault, it was a planned departure!!
