Perseverance and a slight stubbornness on my part but I finally found the “stairs that lead to a big open hole with the tree peeking through it”.

I took a friend on a photo walk yesterday around Chinatown and a street lined up with shophouses that I really like and it gave me the creative push to go and look for it today. I kind of knew where it was but it wasn’t actually where I thought it was. Lots of sweating walking around… and maybe a few wrong turns!

In fact, I “needed” a photo of stairs (I posted a different one there by the way) to complete the trio for my Instagram feed so it was either today or I would have had to come up with another solution.
