I did a sample chocolate making class in Singapore and when I told the host that I l grew up not far from the Valrhona Chocolate factory she started to be all excited and asking me a bunch of questions… I had to admit I had never been. To my defense this “Cité du Chocolat” i.e. museum/interactive behind-the-scene exploration of chocolate only opened in 2013!).

It focuses mainly on high-grade luxury chocolate marketed for commercial use by chefs as well as for private consumption.
