Put my big girl pants on and decided to explore the the neighborhood.
Why did I choose this little restaurant, you might ask? Well I wasn’t going to go to McDonald’s and this one said that they had “Menus in English” ;-). At least I wasn’t going to poison myself on the first night!!!
Great sashimi just like the Japanese know how to do, a bowl of edamame… and yes this is a beer you see. This should put me to sleep very very fast!!!

Good you found a place you liked, I do have to ask, is that raw Octopus on the left side of your plate in front of your camera or was it lightly grilled. 🙂

Good eye. Yes it was. Not my favorite. The one in front was very good, probably my favorite with the tuna. I usually also like the salmon, this one was cut just tiny bit to thick.
I like to do people watching. It was a tiny restaurant (is there any large one in Japan!). Mostly men eating by themselves or in group. Only one table with two women.
