No English subtitles to decipher
No Pinyin to help read the characters
No photo to help choose the dish
No problem (well with a little help from the waitress)
This is my kind of place: shopping, wine bar and restaurant all under the roof of Taipei Fish Market.
Taipei Fish Market on Minzu East Road. From the fish tank to our plate in a record time.
Beitou Hot Springs. It had an airy feeling.
Of course we had to try the hot springs.
The top pool was 45+C, the middle one 40+C and the bottom one 35+C. (We went in the bottom one, the top was way too hot). The jacuzzi in the front was cold water (Only Jeremy dared to get in!)
This is a picture of a picture because no photo were allowed and as you can guess it was slightly more crowded ๐
Beitou hot springs.
Water is between 80 & 100C. (For my American friends, 100C is boiling temperature ๐ย !) the ph is 1-2 and it smelled like rotten eggs because of the sulphur.
Definitely just to look at and not dip in!!
Beitou Thermal Valley
Metro ride for another day of exploring Taipei.
